About us

Paul Lahaye and his son Chris decided to launch www.lahaye.ws in January 2005. Initially, this website illustrated the stories of a Dutch climbing family. Through the years it became a more comprehensive website. Today, it covers climbing news of Paul, Rick and friends. The website is supported by Youri van Vliet (text), Gabriele Armino (photos) and Toon Hezemans (cartoons).

The gallery shows Paul´s other passion, photography and a view on several travel and climbing trips. Above all, it shows the nice people and friends who have shared their adventures. Climbing is not just about grades and lines. Like photography is not purely about the image itself. It is all about sharing passion, emotion and inspiration gained by meeting amazing people and places. We hope you will see all this throughout the gallery.
